    Frequently Asked Questions



    How many people will the farm share feed?

    While every family or individual has different eating habits, we hesitate to give a definite answer. The share is designed to provide the shareholder a good portion of their weekly vegetables.


    Can I visit the farm?

    Yes, as a CSA member, you have full access to the farm during our working hours.  Please do notify us that you’ll be visiting so we can verify that the farm will be open.


    Can I share a farm share?

    Yes! Please share with anyone you’d like. We allow you to send other folks in your place, so the sharing possibilities are unlimited.


    What happens if I can’t pick up my share?

    You can always have a friend or neighbor pick-up your share in your place. Unfortunately, we cannot double up on shares that have been missed.


    What do I get in a share?

    The contents of the share vary widely. We grow a diverse array of vegetables that come and go with the seasons and weather patterns.

    For the spring season, you can expect to see these vegetables: beets, bok choi, braising mix, broccoli, cabbage, Napa cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, green garlic, salad mixes, arugula, mustards, collards, lettuce, sweet onions, green onions, sugar snap peas, potatoes, spinach, chard, turnips, fruit: strawberries herbs: chives, thyme, oregano, cilantro, dill.

    For the summer season, you can expect to see these vegetables: beans, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, greens, leeks, collards, arugula, lettuce, okra, onions, green onions, peppers (sweet + hot), potatoes, radishes, summer squash and zucchini, chard, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, fruit: blueberries, blackberries, melons herbs: basil, parsley, thyme, oregano, cilantro.
